R4 Phase 2 Day 42

Weight - 134.8

Arrgghh.. no output overnight and I didn't eat dinner last night until 8:30 pm which means I'm up today.

Trying an experiment tonight but I probably shouldn't.  I'm adding in some protein before bedtime to see if it keeps things burning overnight.  Something I've recently read about.  I'm using 8 ounces of Fage 0% Greek Yogurt so I'm getting mostly casein protein which is slow digesting.

Down another 2.0 lbs.  One more will put me back at my lowest.

Got my new deck furniture and fire pit today.  It cost a bit more than I was planning.  I'm going to have to sleep out there to reduce the cost per use!

R4 Phase 2 Day 40

Weight - 136.6

Down just 1.2.  I'm sure there's still carbs roaming around causing water retention.  Also my output the last few days has been lacking.

Went for my after peel facial today.  First full facial in over 10 weeks because of doing the 4 peels.  I can't believe the difference in my skin and the fine lines.   I also decided to get my eyelashes tinted.  Looks like I'm wearing mascara 24/7.

Today is my skip day.  Still working to get this back off and hold between 132-133.  I'm always realizing the enormity of the task ahead of me to get this place ready for full interior paint and carpet.  It means everything has to be shifted around at some point.  I am going to get to spend the next few weeks packing away small stuff that sits out usually.  Leaving only the furniture and essentials to be moved from area to area as the work is done.  I guess when I'm done I'll have a clean house.

Yes, that's right.  I'm up 3 lbs.  I won't go into the sordid details, but once again family stresses got the best of me late on a Sunday night.  I've done this to my
self two Sunday's in a row.  I'll pay my penance in the coming days trying to get this back off.

I am skipping lunch today and eating one meal at dinner time with double protein.

Lack of output today put me up 1 lb.  Ahh well.. back at it again.

Busy family Sunday today.  We decided to grill because the weather was decent.  Before that I plunked down way more than I should have on a outdoor furniture set with a gas fire table.  My family better do a lot of living outdoors.   We grill petite sirloins, some bison, zucchini, and corn (for those who could have it).

Up 0.2 which is nothing really.  A day or normal P2 eating and we'll see what tomorrow brings.  If I'm 133 or below I'll increase calories just a bit to start maintaining this weight for the next few days.

R4 Phase 2 Day 36

Weight - 132.6

Another 0.8 this morning, so that puts me within my 'stick it' weight range.  I'll see what tomorrow's scale looks like.  If it is between 132 and 133 I'll up calories of P2 foods just a bit.  The goal is for me to maintain this weight for 10 to 14 days before slowly moving to P3.

Totally insane day for me today.  You know changing one thing in your home tends to snowball?  Well, about a month ago I purchased a new sofa and loveseat for the family room.  I decided I wanted a new area rug.  In searching for area rugs, I discovered that for the prices I was looking at I could recarpet that room.  Well, recarpeting that room became redoing the entire main floor carpet and that went on to recarpeting the entire house.  That all got settled today and install won't be for a bit.. BUT..  I decided if I'm ever going to paint I should probably do it before the new carpet goes down.  Sooo...  oh boy.  Now I have to figure out exactly what color(s) will go with the new carpet.

I'm doing a non-protocol day today partially because I was so busy and also because I wanted to try adding a bit more fat.

Down 0.8 lbs and exactly where I was last Saturday.  What a week.  Sticking with what I've been doing and hoping for a decent drop tomorrow, but after several days of drops (even though it was weight I'd already lost) I'm not betting on more.

Down another 1.6 lbs. I still have 0.8 to go before I'm back to where I was on Saturday.

Insane day at my house today.  New furniture for the family room and the basement sitting area as well as a carpet consultant out to show me some samples.  I had my older son and daughter-in-law come by so the entire family was in on some of the decisions.  It's funny how things can snowball, and it's all because I decided to by a new sofa and loveseat.  I've put of doing anything in this house because of kids and now grandkid.  The home is 20 years old and I've had it for almost 14 years.  Same carpet, paint, etc the entire time.  Both carpet and paint is something that would have to be done if/when I ever decide to sell, so why not get some enjoyment out of it by doing it now.

Back down 2.2 after the veal day.  I was going to eat a standard 2 meal day today but had to rush out before I had lunch and didn't get back until 5:30.  I ended up doing a mini-steak day instead.

R4 Phase 2 Day 32

Weight - 138.0

Yes, you read that right.. it's not a typo.  I am up 3.2 lbs today.  Stress eating rears it's ugly head.  A culmination of many things Sunday compounded by my feeling slow in this round (which I'm not) cause me to turn gremlin last night and eat off protocol.  It started after my post here yesterday which was a good protocol day.  I found myself in the fridge in the evening and decided "Okay, just a salad.  That can't hurt anything."  It was all downhill from there.  A couple of tiny hershey's kisses, 2 pieces of Kavli Crispbread with some Mexican cheese melted on it, a 7 oz container of Fage 2% Greek Yogurt with some blueberries, followed by another 7 oz container of Fage 2% with raspberries and a bit of granola.. and I had devoured almost 700 more calories.   To top it off, I did not sleep a wink last night and had no output at all overnight (unusual for me).  I can say that the granola, 2% Fage and the Kisses are gone now.    I had planned a P2 mini-steak day today anyway so that's what I did with veal like I did a couple of weeks back.  Ended up not able to eat until 8pm tonight and then I almost opted not to bother.  I was afraid if I did not eat, I would regret it come 11pm or midnight.

A drop of 1.0 after yesterday's gain of 0.4.  I'm almost there.

Went to a Mariners game tonight at SafeCo with my ladies.  I took a chicken, apple, celery salad with me because I was not about to sit there for 3.5 hours smelling all the ballpark food.

R4 Phase 2 Day 29

Not a surprise at all to see a slight uptick on the scale this morning.  Not a lot of output overnight as well as two days of good drops will do that to you.

I do have to mention that my dosing with Hucog has been spot on this round.  After having major issues the first week of my Round 3 I had settled in for the rest of that round with 170iu and skipping one day a week.  This round I started at 175iu and after a skip dropped it to 170iu again and am very very good in the hunger department.   In the early part of this round I was trying to be done with dinner by 6pm.  I found myself wanting to cruise the kitchen after 10pm.  I shifted my dinner to be done around 7pm and have been fine for the most part.

Completely out of the blue I lost 2.2 lbs again today.  Never done this high a drop this far along in the round yet alone two days in a row.  Without a doubt I should have some sort of a gain tomorrow after the last two days.  I am nearing my target weight that I want to try to hold at for two weeks before moving on to Phase 3.  For today, I'm eating a normal protocol.
