R5 Phase 2 Day 3

Weight - 148.2

Down 1.4 lbs on day 2, so that's 3.4 lbs total.  Gee.. I could go for a few more days of this, please.  It's not likely though.  I batch cooked all that chicken yesterday and didn't even use any of it today.  I pulled out some frozen cod for dinner and dry fried it in a non-stick pan.   Lunch was a yummy soup.  I lived on soups during my second round last winter.

  1. Beth, glad Zach did well with surgery.
I was also going for the 12 lb loss, however seems I am alittle slower this round. Don't know if you read any of Sonia Russell's work but she is a proponent of the 800 calorie system rather than 500. I actually followed it last round and stablized best. Thus far I have stayed about 625 in calories and I am doing the 5000 hcg sublingually. Hunger has been much less than with the 2000hcg and I been taking .4 ml.
Love the soups as well which I got from you my last 2 round!! Thanks

  2. Beth...Hi, I've been following your blog for some time now and it has been extremely helpful...I've paid close attention to what you've been eating and the fluctuations in your weight...your blog is very well done. I have a question. I've noticed that you use different foods than what I've read about using in phase 2...I also see that you still have losses as long as you've kept your calories under 500. I've been following the regular Dr. Simmeons protocol so I'm interested in switching it up. I'm currently in phase 4 of my second round.

  3. Hi Desirae

it's all through testing what my body will and will not tolerate. For the most part, I know I'm okay with 99% lean ground turkey and with fage 0%. That green beans don't cause me to gain, etc. It's all trial and error.

  4. Thank you...that's helpful. I plan on going back on for round 3 in a few weeks. I want to change it up a bit, break up the monotony of the types of food. Continued success!
