R5 Phase 2 Day 33

Weight - 138.4

Seesaw again.  Started today with a yummy orangesicle protein shake.  Had the grandbaby out for a bit of shopping.  Getting things together for the gang over tomorrow for the big game.

Lunch - (302 calories)
**Orangesicle Protein Shake
140 g Fage 2% Greek Yogurt
1 scoop Jay Robb Vanilla Whey Protein
165 g Cara Cara Orange
8 oz water

Dinner - (175 calories)
110 g beef eye of round steak
110 g cucumber
90 g radish
2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
2 tbsp water
minced dried onion
garlic powder

Total Calories for the day 477
Daily Calorie Composition: 28% from carbs, 14% from fat and 58% from protein.

Fat 7 g; Fiber 6 g; Carb 31 g; Sodium 311 mg; Protein 65 g

  2. I'm in AWE that you eat such different things each day, it looks delicious! I'm single so things go bad if i don't eat them quickly, so i pretty much alternate the same foods each day. I am vegetarian (eat white fish) & allergic to whey & soy protein powder so I can't hit my 500 cals in P2...that'd require me to eat about 9 cups of veggies...I usually get in about 6-7 and am stuffed. I released 23lbs in 30 days & stopped cause i plateaud too much. I'm breaking it down into 4 small rounds of about 21 days each with 3 wks P4 after each.

    I realized my stevia powder has maltodextrin in it. It seems to b ok, i'm trying to find just stevia but so far it's eluded me! The list you posted has been really helpful, thank you. I'm eating a little of nuts & seeds & sweet potato cause it's really hard to up my cal's in P4. Can't seem to get past 1300, it's just too much food.

    Your low carb list, do you eat those only in P4? do you eat only the assigned ones in P2 or do you eat these ones on the list too?

    Do you have a list on nuts & seeds? I'd prefer to eat the better ones for P4.

    in P2 have you tried adding an egg protein based shake?

    The Stevia I use is by KAL.

    The carb list ranges from lower carbs to higher carbs. The higher ones should be reserved for P4 definitely.
